Layer Marney Tower Wedding Photography, Chelmsford Wedding Photographer
Layer Marney Tower is a Tudor Palace dating from 1520 and it is located in Layer Marney, near Colchester.
We met Bryony and Chris a long time before their wedding and we were excited to hear about their wedding location and the plans they had for their wedding day.
The wedding day started early for us, covering the morning preparations. As we usually do, we split for this part and while Nina was covering Bryony and her bridesmaids getting ready, George was with Chris and the groomsmen. The morning was fun and went by really quick; soon it was time to leave to Layer Marney Tower for the ceremony. The emotions were running high for both Bryony and Chris; they had a beautiful and touching service.
After the ceremony everyone went outside and we all enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and the great weather on the day. We did few formal shots and a photo session with the newly wedded couple and soon it was time to leave to the venue.
Bryony and Chris had chosen for their wedding celebration The Lion Inn in Chelmsford. This is a very nice pub with lots of character and great atmosphere. During the wedding breakfast we set up our photo booth and after the speeches, while the main room was turned around for the evening part, everyone had a turn at our open space booth. The photo booth was very successful and we even manage to break our previous record: we managed to fit 16 people in one shot.
Towards the evening, Bryony and Chris cut their beautiful cake and had their first dance. The band they had on the day was really good, so a great party started soon after and lasted long into the night.
Thank you Bryony and Chris for choosing us to be your wedding photographers, we had a great time at your wedding!
