Brandshatch Place Hotel Wedding Photographer | London Wedding Photography
Brandshatch Hotel is a beautiful Georgian mansion built in 1806. The hotel is located just outside M25 with very easy access from London.
As we often do, we visited the venue with Kathy and Alex few weeks before their wedding so we can go through their plans for the day together. We prefer to discuss the formal shots and any particular photography requirements on site; if the clients book our photo booth as well, we discuss the best location to set it up in the evening.
Kathy and Alex day started with them getting ready in separate locations. Kathy was based at the Brandshatch Hotel, surrounded by her Canadian family while Alex was at their home with his ushers. While Nina covered the bride preparations, George was capturing the groom getting ready and this is another great reason for having two wedding photographers on your wedding day.
The ceremony was held at the Brandshatch hotel and Kathy and Alex included a little bit of a Canadian tradition for the ceremony which was very nice. After the ceremony we did few formal shots outside the hotel and a photo session with the bride and groom outside the hotel beautiful grounds. The weather was very nice and also the light on the day was absolutely beautiful and we made the most of it.
The wedding breakfast was next followed by great speeches. While the band was setting up their gear we had the opportunity to grab some great fun pictures with Kathy, Alex and their amazing guests.
After the first dance all guests took the dance floor. The band did a great job and everyone enjoyed themselves, it was a great evening for everyone. As always, we stayed 1 hour or so after the first dance so we can capture some great moves on the dance floor; it’s nice to have the party documented as well as it’s an important part of the day.
