Islington Town Hall is a very popular location amongst the wedding photographers; we had the pleasure to work here many times and every time we admired the staff professionalism. When Grainne and Gareth got in touch with us and told us about their plans for their wedding day we were excited about the prospect of shooting their wedding day. Especially that the Wedding Breakfast and party location was literally next door: at the Islington Assembly Hall.
Islington Assembly Hall is a great location for events and not so long ago the venue decided to host weddings as well. If you are planning your wedding in Islington you check this location as well, you might have a very nice surprise. No wonder why Grainne and Gareth opted for this location.
After the morning preparations, Grainne and Gareth had their beautiful wedding ceremony at Islington Town Hall. It was a short but emotional ceremony and we use the stairs outside the Town Hall for the traditional confetti shot.
A photo session with Grainne and Gareth followed in the nearby park and soon everyone was enjoying the beautiful day in the Vineyard, the pub right across the Islington Town Hall.
After the wedding breakfast the Islington Assembly Hall was turned around for the evening part; Grainne and Gareth had a surprise for everyone: they had a band on their wedding day and they were using the actual stage: it was great, we felt like being at a gig!
