Kirsty and Sean booked us long time before their wedding day and we were really excited when we heard that Cooling Castle will be their wedding venue.
We heard that Cooling Castle is a truly a magnificent wedding venue and we were not disappointed at all, this venue is simply amazing.
On Kirsty and Sean’s wedding day we arrived early so we can capture the morning preparations. Both Kirsty and Sean were getting ready at the venue so that made things easier for us.
As always Nina covered the bride and her bridesmaids getting ready while George was covering the groom and his groomsmen preparations.
The weather was absolutely lovely on the day and the guests were able to enjoy the beautiful garden inside the Cooling Castle Barn. As the last preparations where nearly done, we captured the table details inside the hall before everyone was called in for the ceremony.
Kirsty and Sean’s ceremony was lovely and very emotional. The registrars did a great and swift job and in no time Kirsty and Sean were pronounced husband and wife! By the time the guests made their way into the courtyard we did a brief photo session with the bride and groom. We never keep the bride and groom away too long from their family and friends for pictures. If time allows, we prefer to have 2-3 smaller photo sessions during the day so we can take advantage of the different light conditions during the day. We agreed a small list of formal shots with the bride and groom and once that was done, we documented the day as it happened, without interfering with the events.
The wedding breakfast was lovely and after it the speeches followed. This is one of our favourite parts of the day as you can capture fun, emotions and everything in between in only few minutes time.
Cake cutting was next and soon the guests were invited outside so the venue can get the hall ready for the evening. We squeezed in another 10 minutes photo session with Kirsty and Sean outside Cooling Caste gate just before the sunset and the light was just great.
First dance followed and after the dance floor was open for everyone. Great fun followed and we stayed around a little bit longer to capture some nice action shots.
